The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority welcomed the first cruise ship of the season, the Norwegian Bliss, which arrived in Victoria on April 3. The GVHA anticipates 315 ship calls and 910,000 visitors this cruise season.
The contract for the construction of Phase I of the Steamship Temporary Terminal has been awarded and early work on the terminal began immediately, with estimated completion in fall 2024. The project is expected to be completed in time for the 2028 tourism season.
