Christine is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR), and a nationally certified E-merit tourism trainer. Christine specializes in providing recruitment, training and consulting services related to operational leadership and human resources issues and tourism and hospitality. Christine has been a Consultant for over 25 years and for the past 14 years was owner of Chemistry Consulting Group and GT Hiring Solutions. In 2018, Christine was named Business Person of the Year by the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce. She is an active member of the Chartered Professional in Human Resources – BC and Yukon (CPHR – BC & Yukon) and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the largest HR professional association in North America.

Prior to entering the consulting field, Christine was a valued member of the tourism and hospitality industry for over 20 years and held senior management positions with Four Seasons Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Trusthouse Forte Hotels, Ocean Pointe Resort as well as with several independently owned and operated hotels and restaurants in Victoria, Toronto, the Caribbean and Hawaii. Hotel operations she managed ranged in size from 250-950 guest rooms and restaurants with seating from 80 to 120.

Active in the community, Christine has served as Chair of the Board of the Victoria Airport Authority, Chair of the Tourism Industry Association of BC (TIA BC), Chair of Tourism Victoria, a Director with the Canadian Airports Council and a Director with the Victoria Police Board. She has also served on the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council and go2HR, The Resource for People in Tourism. Currently she is a Director with the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority, Destination Greater Victoria and Tourism HR Canada.
