The tourism industry in Victoria is abuzz with activity as a result of 2015’s record setting performance. We are seeing significant investment, upgrades and expansion at many of the City’s accommodation properties and attractions including the Fairmont Empress, Hotel Grand Pacific, Victoria Regent Hotel and the Belleville Terminal.

“Greater Victoria’s tourism industry ended 2015 on a high note. As shown in the year-to-date data in the table below, strong year-over-year growth is reflected in most indicators with occupancy up 3.5%, ADR up $12.37 and RevPAR up $13.41. BC Ferries and the airport also put in strong performances with passenger counts up 5% and 3.6% respectively.
