Congratulations to Police Victim Services of BC and Ian Batey!
The Executive Search division of Chemistry Consulting Group is delighted to have partnered with Police Victim Services of BC on the search for an Executive Director, and wishes to congratulate the organization on its recent appointment of Ian Batey to this prominent position.
Police Victim Services of British Columbia (PVSBC) is a non-profit association dedicated to serving the needs of police victim services programs. With over 90 police victim services programs operating out of RCMP and municipal police departments throughout BC, this organization provides a number of critical functions including; liaising with both Federal and Provincial Government Ministries; developing training and resource materials; hosting a highly respected annual training symposium and partnering with other crime prevention and victim services organizations. In addition, PVSBC works diligently to create better public awareness about the role of police-based victim services.
Ian brings years of experience in governance and advocacy work in government, non-profit and for-profit organizations. His positive and respectful perspective along with his skills in strategic leadership will be a tremendous asset to PVSBC, particularly considering the type of work and community in which the organization operates. Ian’s reputation for integrity and professionalism will serve PVSBC well as he takes on the position of Executive Director and builds enduring relationships with stakeholders, community representatives and members.
