HR Tips - Employee Relations

  • Know what motivates each of your employees; one size does not fit all.
  • Stay connected to your team. Be aware of issues before they become problems.
  • Make sure you respond quickly to any employee concerns. Demonstrating good internal customer service showcases how external customers should be treated.
  • Support your staff if they are going through a personal situation (illness or death in the family).
  • Interpersonal issues in the workplace should not be allowed to fester. Be open and help faciliate resolution of the issue.
  • Understand the different generational styles of your staff.
